Unblock pipes the natural way

Pipes clog slowly from grease, hair and residue. With regular maintenance and natural methods you avoid calling the plumber.

Weekly maintenance

Once a week pour very hot water down the drain with a spoon of baking soda. It dissolves grease before it forms blockages.

For already-slow drains

Baking soda + coarse salt (half a cup each), then hot vinegar. Leave it half an hour, then rinse with boiling water. Great for kitchen and shower.

The drain snake for hard blockages

For hair and deep blockages, a drain snake (a few euros at the hardware store) reaches where liquids can't. You push it in, twist and pull out the blockage.
